Our historic rooms help you imagine life in 19th-century San Francisco. Each room/suite features an alarm clock, telephone, and hair dryer. Irons and ironing boards are available upon request. Complimentary wireless internet is available on the main floor. There are no TVs in the B&B.



The Enrico Caruso

This second floor room has a double four-poster bed and a private bathroom with a shower. It features American Renaissance furniture and wallpaper by Bradbury and Bradbury.

 


The Isadora Duncan

This gracious second floor room has a double bed, a decorative fireplace and a private detached bathroom with a shower over a clawfoot tub. It also features American Renaissance furniture, and period papered ceilings by Bradbury & Bradbury




The Jack London

This charming third floor room has a double bed and a sunny tower sitting area. The hallway bathroom is shared with the Jack London Room and features a bathtub only. The London Room can join the Joaquin Miller Room to form a two-bedroom suite.

 


The Joaquin Miller

This comfortable third floor room features a double bed and has elegant bowed windows. The hallway bathroom is shared with the Jack London room, and features a bathtub only. The Miller and London Rooms can be combined to form a two-bedroom suite.



The Aimee Crocker

This elegant second floor room has a queen four-poster bed and a private bathroom with shower. The room is furnished with American Renaissance furniture and has papered ceilings by Bradbury and Bradbuy.

Luisa Tetrazzini

The opulent Luisa Tetrazzini suite, is the jewel of the chateau. It is named after the famous opera singer who sang at San Francisco's Tivoli Opera House and who was a frequent guest at the chateau.

This spacious suite has a luxuriously carved queen canopy bed from the Charles De Gaulle estate, and a private parlor with a decorative fireplace. The marble bathroom has a double shower. The room is furnished in American Renaissance style with Bradbury & Bradbury wallpaper.


Mark Twain

This grand third floor suite has a king mirrored canopy bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The bedroom opens into a large private parlor with a comfortable daybed suitable for an extra guest. There is sufficient room for an additional roll-away bed or a child's crib.


 
 

Basement-Level Economy Suites

Lola Montez

A cozy basement-level economy suite with two bedrooms with a double bed in each room. The suite has a private bathroom with a claw-foot tub which is located in the master bedroom. A private entrance and small dining area makes this suite ideal for families or extended stays.
 
 

Lillie Langtry

This basement-level economy suite has two separate bedrooms with a double bed in each room, a private bath with shower, and a private entrance. Exposed brick and a decorated cave-like ceiling in the hallway provide a grotto motif.
